Dr. Mark Holtzapple | Global Warming: An Engineering Perspective
In this guest lecturer event, Dr. Mark Holtzapple will be presenting an engineering perspective on the topic of climate change. Climate change is a complex issue with many facets that is often lost in today’s discussions. It’s a challenge that doesn’t present any black and white solutions as any attempts to tackle climate change will always have some drawback. This is why climate change is considered one of the 14 grand engineering challenges of our lifetime. Dr. Mark Holtzapple will apply chemical engineering principles to help understand the physics of climate change and its consequences, but also engineering solutions that can potentially address it.
